Or H2O?

Why would you do this?

is the question " would you give a 2 year old cola?"

if so the answer is no

if the question is "when would you give a child cola" I would say that if you can get away with never that is great, there is no reason to ever have it.

You can give your lo's whatever you want, whenever you want. Your rules are the right rules for you.

Why would you want a toddler to have cola? Our DC's are 8 and 10 and only have it sometimes when we are out.

Avoid all fizzy drinks for as long as you can.

And phosphoric acid if you like the thought of dentist bills.

ds is 4 & has never had coke or anything fizzy. In fact when he was about 18 months & wanted to try something fizzy I gave him Dr Pepper straight out of the can & the fridge knowing that the combination of cold & fizz would put him right off. He's refused to try anything fizzy ever since which can only be a good thing. Things like coke are full of crap, why would you want to give them to a 2 year old?

It's a big no, no in our house. But in your house, you may do as you wish.

As a real treat we sometimes allow our 4yo sa small glass of lemonade/Sprite ..

My mum always gave my brother and I a glass of flat Coke when we had upset tummies when we were kids ...

dc never have and still don't drink many fizzy drinks. Given that it can clean your loo of calc, I wouldn't start what you may regret.

I wouldn't, I just wouldn't but as someone else has stated, it's your house, you do as you please.

My 6 year old gets it once in a blue moon. My 3 year old has tyo make do with lemonade!

The Ds's are 7 and 5 and still don't like fizzy drinks, long may it last.

Both have had a sip but neither liked the bubbles.

Dd1 (5.6) has never tried a fizzy drink in her life (she doesn't know what they are) mainly because i don't drink them and because they are nasty.

Dd does have the odd fruit shoot though and at home she drinks squash and juice.

other than that all it does is cause very hyper children and damaged teeth.
why would you want to give it to a 2 year old

I knew this would be a litany of "my DC have never had fizzy drink", "don't know what a fizzy drink is", "don't even like fizzy drinks" posts

My DC are 8 and 5 and drink lemonade on high days and holidays, and in restaurants. They will finish my can of yummy chemicals every now and again.
