It will smell and the package will ballon if off smile you will know I can assure you it stinks when turned

Open it - it will be immediately obvious. If not immediately obviously off, it is fine.

Yuk, you have to be careful with mozzerella, the mould often seems be WHITE. I´ve had a few wretch inducing moments with it..

It won't kill you if you eat it but it will probably have an unpleasant acidic aftertaste that cooking usually doesn't completely take away.

I used 2 days over date mozzarella in a pizza at the wekend and it was yum.
