What can you do with them apart from cut silly faces in the sides.I was thinking of making a cottage pie and mashing some pumkin into the potato. Can you do this and will it taste nice (for under 5yr olds)What else can you do?Pumkin soup....
Soupfry a chopped onion, add chunks of peeled pumpkin, sweat for a few mins, add stock, seasoning, thyme and simmer till pumpkin is soft, then whizz up and serve with a swirl of cream.I've made pumpkin icecream before but it languished in the freezer as we ate the nicer flavours.
Nice in a curry
use it like you would any other vegetable for roasting vegetablesin soupsmashed with sweet potato and a little bit of cinnamonpumpkin piecarribean lamp and pumpkin stewpumpkin cake like carrot cake
