I'm having a party for my 40th, plus lots of friends coming for a long weekend & I've got the use of a freezer for a couple of weeks beforehand. So - trying to figure out what I can make in advance & freeze. Thinking beef casserole, bolognese sauce etc for the long weekend, which is ok, but was also wondering if home-made houmous would freeze alright or if it would go funny textured. Anyone tried it? Also, I'm planning a big veggy chilli with a green lentil base for the party, again, never tried freezing veggy stews. Sorry to be long, haven't had a freezer, so all my experience is at my parents, and they are old fashioned meat eaters who wouldn't let a veggy dish over their doorstep!
