I have a chicken a whole chicken. Come inspire me please

I don't want a roast dinner either. And I don't want to go out and buy ingredients I need to rely on cupboard staples. Am toting with chicken pie but how hard is it to make pastry? Plus I don't have a pie dish can it go in anything?

I don't know what to do. I need a kick up the culinary bum.

Chicken pie can go in anything pie-shaped. An oven-proof frying pan even!

What about mughlai roast chicken the times recipe I have made it and it is delicious.

Basically slap some marinade of yog and spices on the chicken, pot roast it and forget about the last bit of jointing and grilling it - i just took the lid off for the last 20 mins to brown it, mushed up the marinade from the bottom of the pan and served it.

I'm doing levi roots' haitian chicken with two stuffings 2n.

What about morroccan chicken and couscous? Durban style roast chicken and basmati?
Both similar - marinate in olive oil and spices, but a different flavour.

I wouldn't personally use up a whole chicken by making pie. Pie is for leftover chicken!
