Seen a great le crueset pie dish.

My mum just uses a plate but my plates almost flat instead of hers which have a rim. Wondered how you all did it?

I use a pyrex casserole dish.

I use a pie tin for a deep pie, a pyrex lid for a flatter tart type.

Silverwood do an aluminium pie dish and a pie plate. The aluminium conducts heat better than an enamelled steel plate, so you shouldn't get a soggy bottom.
