Slow braised pork with chorizo and lemon herb crumbs and roast paprika potatoes (from this months Olive magazine)

I'll probably stick in peppers and onions and then do some peas on the side for veg.

We are having fennel risotto with watercress and spinach salad.

The recipe is from Waitrose (but the ingredients aren't!). I'm mad for fennel atm, the other night we had roast veggies - fennel, red peppers, red onions, garlic and cherry tomatoes with cous cous, rocket and sorrel salad and feta crumbled over. Num num.

God, I'm hungry now. Is it lunchtime yet?

No idea. Need inspiration. We often order a curry on a Friday but I fancy something else. Maybe fajitas or I may do a Thai Green Curry.

bamboo - isn't a recipe as such!

cook pasta and leave to cool (or run cold water through it until cool)

add smoked mackerel chopped into chunks (could be any smoked fish or tuna or cooked chicken etc - today it is mackerel!)

add chopped vegetables raw/cooked and
cooled/as you like them (tomatoes, cucumber, sweet peppers, spring onions, mange tout, peas, sweet corn, roasted veg, whatever you like/whatever's in the fridge)

make up a dressing from balsamic vinegar, wholegrain mustard and (low-fat) natural yoghurt - not sure of quantities, just add things until it tastes right

mix together with a big spoon

(sometimes I add cubes of feta/goat's cheese. sometimes i don't)

It's good because it can stay in the fridge until people are ready to eat, then served straight away

HTH - I'm not much of a cuisiniere, sorry!
