Have to go shopping today for bits as out most of tomorrow and they are coming round about 7.30pm tomorrow.

so was thinking poss baked camembert to begin, or goats cheese and walnut salad,

For main pref something to bung in oven poss moroccan thingy and serve with cous cous or fish wrapped in parma ham with roasted toms, but what type of pots, poss dauphinous?

pud maybe lemony tart/mousse

Dinner party went really well

Did baked Camembert with fresh rosemary and garlic, made an onion marmalade with port and red wine and served with homemade bread, looked very good and tasted fab

For main did cod fillets wrapped in proscuitto with vine toms, on a bed on watercress with garlicy roasted new pots, very nice

For pud did a lemon mousse with armetti biscuits, served in a tall wine glass so looked very impressive

It was all very tasty, nobody left a thing!!

Accidently agreed as was chatting to my friend on the phone the night before saying lets all get together as not seen each other as a group for ages, (had had a couple of glasses of wine by this point and it seemed a good idea!)

We all had a giggle and it was a good night, once had decided what i was doing it was easy as most of it i prepared before hand, (very proud of myself emotion)

ooh sounds lovely! i lovve "rustic" food (homemade bread etc, chutney) would you like to come round and cook dinner tonight!?

supposed to be having a barbecue but those cod fillets sound bloody good!

ooh i never talk to people about possible meet ups etc after a couple of glases of wine, before you know it ive agreed to host the damn thing!

glad you had a good time (you SHOULD be proud of yourself emoticon)
