How do I make 'American' style pancakes please?

Have got some golden syrup in and am craving them!

They sell it in tesco with the baking stuff - it is seriously easy
Just make sure you oil the pan - a few millimetres worth between each batch, and you need a fairly hot pan use a thick bottomed one.

the godess of all things over sweetened so acutlaly is ok in this area
