I have been told that I need to have a bland 'english' diet using as little processed stuff as possible with vvv little spice if any at all.

I am already getting a bit bored. Its just myself and son -6 who needs to be fed but it needs to be cheap too.

I dont eat eggs and it has to not have nuts in it. Other than that pretty much anything goes.

I am used to pretty exotic food with lots of spice in it so this is pretty hard for me to think about.

What is the allergy to?
What are you eating so far that meets this diet?

Cottage/shepherds pie.
spag bol.
Pasta and veg sauce.
Chicken and rice.
Bean and bacon casserole (bulk it up with pearl barley, or Tesco's soup and broth mix, which is fab for bulking out meals cheaply).
Baked potatoes and salad.
fish (look for reduced ones or something like coley which is less expensive) and mash and veg.

I do not know what I am allergic too but at a best guess its a spice so hence plain very plain food.

I amwaiting for a consultants appointment to betested but need to eat plain food.

I can cook spag bol, i have been eating mince, turkey - cooked with other veg ie stir fry.

Can eat rice, pasta, meat so far and veg bar chili.
