Impressive but surprisingly easy dishes to make
I want to make a cake for tomorrow. The recipe asks for plain flour and baking powder. If I don't have enough plain, can I do a staight swap for self raising flour and leave out the baking powder?
oooooh, maybe. in that situation i would google for the name of the cake and self-raising in the hope that someone will have published a recipe with that ingredient.
Thanks aitch! That is a top tip. Found a recipe almost the same as the one I had but woth S/R flour.
