Scallops,black pudding and...?

What can I serve with scallops and black pudding. I'm craving this but I'm not sure what would go well with it.

I've looked up a few recipes and most seem to say mashed potato, but I feel that I need a vegetable with it too and just not carbs.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Scallops & black pudding is fooking gorgeous. We make a pea puree (cook some frozen peas with a chicken stock cube then blitz to a puree). It's very yummy.

Scallops & chorizo with pea puree also go very nicely together

A purée of shelled broad beans (frozen are fine) with black pepper, sage and olive oil.

I had the scallops and black pudding with the pea puree today. It was incredible.

I've enough black pudding and scallops to try all of the suggestions so I intend to do so over the next week or so.

or with mango & coriander stir-fried veg and noodles

or feck it, with just a big weekender breakfast - eggs and saussies and bacon. who says scallops are for dinner?
