Thought the fishcakes went out of date today...but it was yesterday Can I still cook and eat them? It was a use by, not a best before.TIA
I'd probably use them - do they smell/look ok?I regularly use stuff out of date, and we are all alive
Trouble is...fish cakes smell sort of fishy...! So a bit hard to tell!
Anymore? Want a few more replies before I cook them...don't want to poison anyone!
oh yes absolutely of course of course of course. they will be fine. i owuld use up to 3 days past the date i would say (and maybe 4 if they looked ok). they will be fine. ialso regularly use stuff (apart from chicken) that is out of date....
Well...have eaten them now....so fingers crossed!
You'll be fine - Food doesn't suddenly go rotten at one minute past midnight on the 'use by' day
