Cocoa is posher but I couldn't drink it without sugar.

Cocoa powder has more cocoa content - drinking chocolate has added sugar, and often powdered milk. As for "posher", that depends on who's drinking it.

So that's why I needed to add two spoonfuls of sugar to my cup of cocoa.

There's something on the label that says add potassium carbonate to make it taste better, what on earth is that?
