I have decided to try a new recipe as I FED up of eating the same meals in rotation.I am doing chicken dupiazaOnly things is, it doesn't seem to thickening up as it says it should in the recipe. (it smells divine though)What could I do about this, would cornflour work?
I'd keep it on the heat till it reduces down a bit and it should get thicker.
Thanks, it is in the slow cooker at the minute.
Hmmm I have a lamb bhuna in the slow cooker at the moment - tends to be a lot thinner than doing it on the hob as it doesn't reduce in the same way.I would add a little cornflour mixed with water in this case.
I would second cornflower - stuff in slow cooker always comes out thinner.
