From what age can babies eat tuna?

need to get protein other than cheese inside my dd and tuna is just so easy but not sure if there is an issue with her eating it at nearly nine months old?

It will be fine just no too often and buy her the tuna in springwater rather than brine.

I think it's from a year ish, but I doubt a little would hurt now and then (it has mercury in it so don't give it too often. Can you give her tinned salmon, mashed sardines, mackarel, cod, chicken etc? Egg have protein in, and there are veggie protein sources too.

Girls aren't supposed to eat oily fish more than once a week but I think canned tuna doesn't count as an oily fish.

From 6 months is fine. Better in spring water or veg oil than brine as the salt content is lower.

I think you have to be careful with children under 8 years old. Once a week maximum with Tuna because of the mercury levels.
