What can I substitute groundnut oil for?

Making a watercress dressing but Sainsburys have sold out - DH is there - what can I use?

hmm...i have just used regular olive oil as a sub befreo, but admittedlh not in a dressing.

this is a salmon dressing, not a salad if thst makes a difference

ok...usually i use groundnut oil for stirfrys and in curry paste - tbh i cldn't tell the difference. i expect olive will be ok. i owuld do it.

I use extra virgin olive oil for salad dressings, but I can't eat salmon. [boak emoticon]

sunflower oil would be fine too I think - maybe better than olive if your olive oil is strongly flavoured

olive would be fine, but might taste too strong, depends on oil, have you got sunflower?
