MIL says core and microwave - WDYT?
i used to just stew it. but microwave works as well
I always used to peel, core, slice, microwave then mash. Takes no time - about one minute is enough for an average eating apple - you need to let it stand though to avoid hot spots.
wold you peel it first? Chop it up etc?I am crap at cooking fruit
I would core and make into boats, then steam. If you don't have a steamer just sit the boats on their skins in about a cm of water in a pan with lid on. Very briefly.Microwaving is not idea for babies but I have done it when I have needed to have something rapidly. It's not great for apples because they get super hot inside.
peel and dice and cook it in a little water in a saucepan until it goes mushy
Peel, core and chop up. Either put it in a pan and stew or in a dish and put it in the microwave. Either works well.
peel, core and slice. pop in a pan with a teeny bit of water and just heat until soft
