Hi BlackberryFool I have not got that particular book, but I have one by Carol Deacon - Perfect Party Cakes.These are her quantities for those two tins -20cm12oz self-raising flour10oz caster sugar10oz soft margarine5 medium eggs3tbsp milkto be baked for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hrs23cm1 1b self-raising flour14oz caster sugar14oz soft margarine7 medium eggs3 1/2 tbsp milkto be baked for 1 3/4 to 2 hrsHope this helps.

I always substitute butter in those recipes (I hate margarine!) and they work fine.
