wholemeal pizza bases.

Before you all shout at me, ive searched the arcives and cant find any thing on this.
Ive got a huge bag of wholemeal flour in the cupbourd that needs using and some one was talking about wholmeal pizza bases and they sound yummy.
Any one knoe the recipe and method of these please?

185 ml warm water
2 1/2 tbsp active dry yeast
175g wholemeal flour

pinch salt

pour water into bowl and sprinkle yeast. leave for 10mins or until starting to froth. stir in 120g of flour and salt and stir until ragged dough forms...let stand for 30 mins covered

on floured surface knead dough adding remaining flour until soft sticky dough. place in greased bowl, cover and rest for about 1 hour or until doubled.

roll out onto pizza pans stretching it as necessary (this will do two asda pizza pans if you stretch it really thin.

toppings then 220 degrees for 20 mins.

this is a GI recipie so is a bit sparse...feel free to increase amounts!

Should it be strong flour? Or just regular?

I don't know but would like to as use mostly wholemeal bread etc but fall down on the pizzas.

Thankyou very much for that. Fantastic im going to have a go. Im new to this cooking and baking lark so im experimenting with all sorts.
I would rather make my own stuff for ds then i know there is no rubbish in it.
Im quite enjoying it actually.

can you freeze the bases when you have made them?

i always find i need a bit more flour btw....you can put the dough in the fridge for up to 12 hours....
