If you heat up some double cream, and pour it over chopped up chocolate it will make a yummy ganache
you could either pour over your cake or leave in fridge and spread over cake,
but I'm a novice someoneelse will be along with better ideas

You don't need alot of cream I remember thinking that it didn't look enough but it is
125 mls of cream to about 200g choc

If you google there are loads of different recipes for ganache
I used the one on here for the white choc mud cake

You can make a lighter ganache by adding natural yogurt to the melted chocolate instead of cream. Very nice, has a bit of a tang to it.

Pretty sure you'll have had your cake by now, hope it was nice .
