ds2 likes to eat plain veg. Todays lunch is roast sweet pots, normal pots, broccoli, carrots, peas and a bit of cauli. S0ometimes he will eat a vegi sausage and yorkshire pud (when I can make one). I am trying with vegi cottage pie etc but he always leaves them and just eats the plain veg.

I guess this means he isn't getting so many calories? Or am I fussing over nothing and should be glad he likes to eat veg? He's 17 months btw.

He needs protien but I wouldn't be calories so muc at this stage.

Try grating cheese on the veg, or home made cauli and broccoli cheese bake.

Will he eat meat at all?

Dd1 isn't keen on meat and eats loads of fruit and veg. Chips are poisonous accordin to her. She will eat dark chicken though.

That sounds fine to me also. dd1 goes through phases of very resticted eating and/or refusng to eat at all, so I understand how worrying it is when your child won't eat.

But dd1 has been doing this since weaning and is now five and still doing well smile

I think I over worry about food as ds1s diet is a disaster

sounds fine. fish fingers and beans are protein, so is cheese. don't worry!
