I am making beef steak fajitas

Do I need to cut the fat off the beef?

I am asking as I always used to drain off the fat from the lamb mince when it was browned and someone said leave it in for the taste.

Just wondering if I should do the same with this.

Probably too late now but I take all fat off meat for fajitas.
