pureeing fresh fish

do i mix it with baby milk to puree it? as im having mixed with potato that i mix it with milk..

how old is your baby? If over 6m, I would use a little milk from the fridge, and once the fish is cooked it will flake away very easily. I would mix with the potato and a wee bit of milk then mash to smooth with a fork, if you need it to be that smooth for a young baby.

thank you, yes it got to be very smooth (baba is 7 months BTW and ive had been weaning for a while)

Realise it's now past tea time, but I don't like to puree potato as it goes really gluey. Hence the fork suggestion. Would have eloborated but ds was insisting I read him a story!

I give DS dover sole, which flakes and mashes very easily. I bake it in the oven then flake it in with carrot or sweet potato. Once it's a bit cool, I express in some EBM then whizz it with the blender thing.

DS is 8 months BTW; been doing this since he was 6.5 months
