Have you got any macaroni? You could make macaroni cheese.

Scrambled eggs on toast or eggy bread?

Have you got the basics to do a tomato pasta?

Have you got potatoes? You could cut them into wedges and bake in oven for 35 mins to make big chips she can dip in ketchup.

Sometimes I do what the kids called 'picnic tea' so I bung together on a plate all bits and pieces I have - crackers with philadelphi on, sandwiches, cubes of cheese, cubes of apple, raisins, banana, breadsticks, hula hoops....whatever you have in. Then follow it with yoghurt or as a treat if you are feeling very lazy - choc buttons!

OR - you could do a banana sliced down the middle with choc buttons in and bake in foil in the oven! Go on, let her eat crap for tea!

Cheese on toast soldiers to dip in ketchup!

You can see how healthy we are in our house - these are only my lazy options you understand!

LOL, GDG!

I would do poached egg on toast or pasta with some butter and parmesan stirred in at the end.

My lazy option is pasta and butter......they all love it and when I am having to tempt JJ into eating his gluten free stuff (which he refuses if he thinks he is having different to the others) he thinks he is having the same and so tucks right in.

They then have chopped fruit for pud which gives them their vit C and eases my guilt.

B loves apple pieces and raisins!!!

So what do you do Psycho? Literally just cook pasta and melt butter into it?? Does it taste of anything?!

Just thinking it's a nice easy one to add to my repertoire if they like it!

Yup......cook n drain pasta and then while still in the hot pan (helps the butter melt quicker) stir the butter in. Needs quite a bit tho. For pasta for four (JJ has his own stuff) I use a quarter to a third of a pack.

And yes, quite tasty.

If they like tuna you can chuck that in too....or ham/cooked pea's, sweetcorn, sausages/tinned salmon.

Sory - never got back to you all.

Gave her piriton, and she pretty much passed out, and ended up with just a bottle and bed

Oodles of ideas for next time though!
