Rising bread in the oven??

I need some help quick! I've just made some bread but can't find anywhere 'warm' to leave it - the bowls to big to stand on the radiator hmm

Just got a new over and there is a 'plate warm function' on it which sets the oven from 30degreesC. Do you think it would work if I put it in the oven?

Basically, what does 'warm' place actually mean and where do you put yours???

I put mine under the grill which is above the oven.The radient heat is just enough to make the dough rise. Do you have an airing cupboard ?

i put mine in the oven at 50 then turn it off, so oven keeps just warm.

I do the same as BlueCow (great name!) also cover it with lightly oiled clingfilm so top doesn't dry out.

I simply leave mine anywhere and it always rises. It even rises quite quickly when I put it in the fridge to try to slow it down. hmm
