4-week planning

I'm holed up in the house tending to a 2 year old I refuse to believe has norovirus... so I thought I would do my 4 week menu plan for February and get it ordered.

Seriously lacking inspiration.

Needs to be economical, and where possible something that can be prepared but eaten in two shifts, e.g. dcs eat at 5pm, we eat about 8pm. So casseroles are good, rice dishes less so.

Talk to me people... what do you give your families in a typical week?

Blimey? these type of threads are usually filled by now!

Okay- this past week we have had...

erm...

Chicken Kievs, potato wedges (homemade) and green beans
Homemade Lasagne (and 1 into freezer for later)
Chicken casserole (and 1/2 in freezer for later)
Alaskan Salmon (was 1/2 price at Sainsburys) baked, with rice and veg
Chilli con Carne (and 1/2 in freezer for later)
Omelettes with veggies
Cheesy pasta with spinach (and half the cheese sauce into freezer for later)
Pancakes with cheese and ham sauce

Are you seeing a pattern?
(am 40 weeks pg- we don't want to be cooking over next month or so)

Also in freezer-
Beef stew
Chicken curry
Pasta sauce
Soup

I like to do a roast chicken at the weekend, then do chicken risotto, chicken curry, chicken pasta, chicken and veg pies, chicken stew or whatever for next 2 days. (just too tired to do roast the moment) works out good value for the meat, and twice cooked chicken is so delicious.
