Make Nigella's chocolate cake?

rolandbrowning Thu 08-Jan-09 09:52:54

Is it nestle? If not can you tell me where you got if from please?

Hassled Thu 08-Jan-09 09:52:56

Drink it. With a spoon.

I might have to go and buy some now.

Make those vile sweets with icing sugar my kids seem to like making. The ones they make in school, with green food colouring and peppermint essence?

beansmum Thu 08-Jan-09 09:54:05

What did you do with the other half of the tin? Do that again.

Make some coffee, add some sugar, let it go cold.

Mix coffee with condensed milk, whizz it up in a food processor with some ice and you've got a creamy iced coffee. delish.

Roland - I looked all over for a non-nestle condensed milk, then when I couldn't find any, I stopped doing home-made delish iced coffees. I really don't think anyone else does them.

Another thing to hate the wankers for, I suppose

he he - I made nigella's cake already. that's why there's only half a tin.

<shudder> at spooning it down my throat neat.

was wondering about adding it to flapjacks - would that be gross? the tin has been recycled so I'm not sure whether it was nestle blush.

Goober Thu 08-Jan-09 09:56:22

Get spoon.

PaddingtonBore Thu 08-Jan-09 09:56:28

x - posted. do you have a particular flapjack recipe, devil?

rolandbrowning Thu 08-Jan-09 09:56:32

Suonk, tell me about it, they seem to have hijacked carnation now. I went EVERYWHERE for it.

12StoneNeedsToBe10 Thu 08-Jan-09 09:57:41

get another tin, boil the lot to make caramel sauce, then make a banoffee pie. Yum.

BTW - apologies for igorance but I've seen the anti-nestle thing mentioned a few times... what's the issue?

12stone... info here

cositjustisok Thu 08-Jan-09 10:07:32

Company who make it is called Sea Isle Ltd. Our Asda store is a huge one so may not be available in all stores. The tin had name and address of company so here is the link ( no website though) you could ring and ask for your local stockists. HTH

rolandbrowning Thu 08-Jan-09 10:11:48

Spread it on bread

Put it in your tea or coffee (yum)
