Hi, I did have a wonderful kedgeree recipe which I am sure was Jamie Olivers which I picked up on one of those sainsburys recipe cards. I can t find it and desperately want to do it for guests on Monday. Has anyone got it or a good one? Please!
cant find a jamie oliver one but this is from hamlyn family cookbook
500g smoked haddock soaked in cold water
1 small onion
2 tbsp veg or fish stock
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 bay leaf#
juice 1 lemon
simmer haddock in water until tender, drain and flake
cook onion in stock til soft, sprinkle over curry powder and continue to cook for 1 min
cook rice with bay leaf, drain combine and add pepper, lemon juice and parsley

seeds from 4 green cardamon pods
1/4 teaspoon tumeric
small piec cinnamon stick
350g basmati rice
600ml chicken stock
2 bay leaves
350g hot-smoked salmon or other fish, in flakes
melt butter, add onion and cook 5 mins, add cardamon pods, tumeric and cinnamon stick and cook 1 min
add rice, stock and salt, bring to boil then cover with lid and leave in low heat 12mins
hard boil the eggs then peel and cut in chunks when cool
uncover rice, remove bay leaves and cinn stick, fork in the salmon and egss and cook 3mins until they have heated thru.
melt remaining butter nad add along with lemon juice and parsley, S&P
