I used to cook this after seeing the recipe on [coughs] ready steady cook (and copious ammounts of!!), a three minute microwave chocolate cake. Tried it and it was good, light, fluffy, and tasty [student days so forgive me!!]. Anyone have a good recipe still?

Chocolate cake in a mug

1 coffee mug
4 tablespoons plain flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
Small splash vanilla
3 tablespoons choc chips / optional

Add dry ingredients to mug and mix well with a fork
Add egg and mix thoroughly
Pour in milk, oil and vanilla and mix well
Add choc chips if using
Put mug in microwave and cook for 3 minutes on 1000 watts
Cake will rise over top of mug - do not be alarmed
Allow to cool a little; tip onto plate if desired
Eat
