Now I saw that statement on the menu given by the catering company that does DS's school dinners....
Does anyone agree with this ? Can someone convince me that this is factually correct????
Please do because I am about to write a stroppy letter to that catering company !

The general principles of a balanced diet are:
- Eat a variety of different foods everyday
- Eat plenty of foods rich in startch and fibre like breads, cereals, potatoes, rice and pasta
- Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables
- Eat a moderate amount of meats, fish, vegetarian alternatives and dairy foods
- Do not eat too many foods that contain a lot of fat, salt and sugar.
