I bought 3 for £4.50 at tesco - 2 for dgs's so that leaves a spare - how very convenient

Dh has been in Manchester for a few days but back tomorrow - so tonight I'm going to put my feet up and fill my face - Mmmm chunky Kit-Kat

Any of you lot planning on snaffling the kids Easter eggs or is that a stupid question?

Newbarnsleygirl Mon 21-Mar-05 18:52:05

Yep!

DD doesn't need all that chocolate, I'll have to help her eat them

emmatmg Mon 21-Mar-05 18:53:28

already eaten one and had to replace it.
I have also eaten the 3 creme eggs ds1 got in his school easter mug thingy.

will replace them nearer to the weekend otherwise I'll eat them again.

JoolsT - you could have given the spare one to your dd

JoolsToo Mon 21-Mar-05 19:07:13

Mmmm? yes - I could - but I decided to keep it for myself

can't give dd without ds's - it wouldn't be fair (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!)

Gobbledigook Mon 21-Mar-05 19:08:51

Well if you got 3 for £4.50 you could have bought for dd and 2 ds's aswell!! Ahhh, I am no longer someones dd, just someone's dm, never to get Easter eggs again....sniff.

JoolsToo Mon 21-Mar-05 19:10:06

i'm stuffing too. dd is only 10 months and i dont want her to have chocolate yet

wobblyknicks Mon 21-Mar-05 20:49:09

JT - fgs why did you have to start this thread! You've reminded me there's a Milky Way one in dd's changing bag that someone gave me for her - she's definitely not getting it (only 20mo) so what can I do with it???

sansouci Mon 21-Mar-05 20:50:15

You're late! I broke into my Easter egg cache last week. Have already gone and bought replacements but feel like scoffing more!!! Milk chocolate Lindt bunny rabbits... yum, yum, yum.

vicdubya Mon 21-Mar-05 20:50:30

Lol

Ate ds milky bar egg earlier (someone bought it for him), gave him the tiniest bit to try (he is a year, never had any choc before) and he spat it out so...

all the more for me

lunavix Mon 21-Mar-05 20:51:05

JoolsToo - who did you get the other two for?

maisystar Mon 21-Mar-05 20:52:10

did you get the kitkat one with the mini jenga in joolstoo??

one of ds's friends bought him a choc duck from m&s and i have eaten it's legs(amd me vegetarian too, tut tut)

JoolsToo Mon 21-Mar-05 21:26:13

Lunavix - dgs's

maisystar - Noooooo! trust me to miss out! The chunky Kit-Kat was lush though [sluuuuurp]! ate it watching Corrie.

You're all terrible mothers - I could never eat dgs's Easter Eggs - buy your own!

JoolsToo Tue 22-Mar-05 17:31:09

Kit-Kat schmit-kat - dh has just come back from Manchester with a Thorntons Continental Easter egg all for little me!

flamesparrow Tue 22-Mar-05 17:33:07

Oooh, DD has one sat on the side that I am only planning on giving her the bits out of the middle... might be forced to break into that tonight now!!!

I'm not a mean mummy, I am just thinking of her health

Ameriscot2005 Tue 22-Mar-05 17:34:04

Haven't bought any eggs yet . I don't think Sainsbury's is going to run out before Saturday.

Last year, I made the big mistake of buying six-pack from Costco several weeks before Easter. Can't remember how many I pinched, but I did have to go out and buy more.
