Individual Shepherds Pies

I want to make some small individual shepherds pies a'laAnnabel Karmel (I know that's a chicken pie! )

If I make them tonight and freeze them how long should I cook them for when I get them out of the freezer/or defrosted

Then how do I serve it - guessing the bowls will be hot ;) and what about added veg - where do you put that

Can't help you much on the timings for cooking. Roughly I'd say if it's defrosted about half an hour, and check it and see... (my main method of cooking!)

If you're serving it for adults I'd just put the hot plate on top of another, as they do in restaurants when you order lasagne or similar. If it's for kids, decant it onto a plate I guess.

Added veg - what do you mean? Served on the side?

About 30 minutes at 200 I reckon.

Serve in bowl for older children and adults; decant out of bowl for toddlers and younger children.

Veg - either serve in serving bowls on table for people to help themselves or serve on the plate with the food.

My mum used to make this when i was a child (minus the veggie yeti), much nicer than a big shepherds pie, she cooked from frozen
