Potato bake in the microwave...

I've got my cheese/onion/potatoes all layered up in a pyrex with a lid. I think I can cook it in the microwave but as I only ever reheat in the microwave I have no idea how long something would take to cook!

Any thoughts oh wise mners?

(I hope I get some very quick answers - if I need to do it in the oven I just about have time!)

I know it's only been 10 mins but bump back into active convos!

I put about 1/4 tin of tomatoes in the bottom and a drizzle of olive oil on the top but no other liquid. Would probably do another layer of tomato next time.

Potato bake in 20 mins?
Sounds fantastic! More details please?
I wouldn't have been able to help, but sorry for not being there when this happened. I'm definitely in support of anyone pushing back the boundaries of quick food.

That's it really! I sliced the potato and onion on the side of my grater so about 2/3mm thick, and grated the cheese. Layered it up in a small pyrex casserole dish (it shrinks down quite a bit so could squash it down) lid on, nuke on full power for 20 mins. Cheese went chewy on the top. Was lovely. I'd recommend giving it a try!
