another soup one if you will humour me :)

tomato soup using tomatoes as in not tinned ones . . . that came out backwards, hope you get what I mean!

What do I need to do to the tomatoes to make them into soup?

OH went 'shopping' at his mums today & came back with very random stuff . . . toms, onions, kfc type chicken, a box of cereal (one of those mini ones), & a pasta in sauce type thingumy.

I have food sorted for the week so was going to turn the toms into soup for lunches but haven't a clue where to start so can someone point me in the right direction & I can get on with it (been staring at me from kitchen side while I'm on MN for a while )

I cut them up and fry them off in olive oil with onion and garlic and herbs like basil. Used to wory about skinning them and all that faff, now I just cook it all up then blitz with the Magimix

tend to bulk mine out with some carrot, peppers, lentils before blitzing, as they tend to not produce very much soup, in my opinion.
