i love apple and date crumble
stew and freeze. We use stewed apple through the year:for crumblesserved with porridge (yummy)served with rice puddingon its own mixed with some raspberries or blackberrieswith cornflakes on topwith natural yoghurtwith cream
If you don't want to use them all straight away, wrap each one individually in newspaper and put in a box in the garage - they will last and then you can use at your leisure.
stew and freeze is probably the best bet, altough i'll maybe do as bellavita suggests and put in garage, thanks for thatthanks everyone
warning - every year we've stored ours in the garage they've attracted and then been eaten by mice.
ooh I love red cabbage with apple <swooon>
We have always been lucky with ours Furball - they have been in tact when used.
