Yes you might. Rice left at room temperature is a cause of food poisoning due to bacteria in the rice producing toxins that will not be destroyed by reheating. If you wanted to eat cooked rice later then it should be cooled quickly and put in the fridge. It should then be eaten within 24 hours.
