Birthday Cakes.

Does anyone have any good adult birthday cake recipes? That's adult as in it's for my mother.

Nothing too complex ideally, I only have two weeks to practice.

I can bake but usually it's muffins,brownies,fairy cakes and anything in a loaf tin.
