Urgent boring flour question!!

If I bake gingerbread, will they taste okay with wholemeal flour instead of plain? I have no plain!!!!!

yes, kids dont know the diff.
my mum only ever made them with wholemeal
and the were just as good

I always do half and half now when baking biscuits and scones so Id say yes probably be ok. Not the same as with white flour but still nice and def better for you. Might add a bit more baking powder tho to make them lighter (1 and quater tsp rather than 1) and a bit more ginger 9but then Im a ginger lover me)
