I've posted all of these before but my kids adore them. I also make meatballs in tomato sauce to have with spaghetti, pancake cannelloni and home made burgers because mince is cheap and easy for them to chew.

Picnic pies
Pack of shortcrust pastry

100g grated cheese
6 cherry tomatoes halved
3 large eggs
½ pint milk
salt and pepper

Cut circles out of pastry with 10cm cutter, put in muffin tin. Put half a tomato in each cup. Mix eggs, milk and ¾ the cheese. Add salt and pepper and pour in each cup. Top with the rest of the cheese and cook at gm4/180 for 20-25 minutes.

Bean and Feta Falafel

150g frozen broad beans
½ onion roughly chopped
½ tspn ground cumin
1 tspn ground coriander
2 tblspn chopped fresh parsley
50g feta cheese
tblspn flour

Cook the broad beans then put in the food processor with all the other ingredients. Whizz until chopped small then mould into small patties. Chill for half an hour then fry in a little oil or cook in the oven brushed with oil at gm4 for 15-20 minutes.

Serve with salad, pitta and yoghurt/mint sauce.

Pizza and spinach palmiers

Pack of ready rolled puff pastry
4 tblspns tomato ketchup
75g frozen spinach
125g grated cheese
1 egg beaten

Put both sheets of pastry on the side, and divide the tomato ketchup between them. Spread this out and then cover with the spinach and the cheese. Roll up both ends to meet in the middle and cut into slices.

Lay cut side down on a baking tray, brush with beaten egg and cook for 10 minutes at gm6/200

I'd def second the stirfry and noodles, Ds loves it!

Mrspnut - those recipes sound yummy, I'm off to make a list!!

I make chicken and bacon lasagne with cheese and tomato sauce. I cram in a few vegetables like carrots, sweetcorn. I usually make a huge one then portion it up and freeze it.

Omlettes.

Cous-cous with red pesto, tuna, sweetcorn and broccoli.

Hi we've just had home made pizza's for tea
i use
200g strong bread flour
sachet of easy bake fast action yeast 7g
175ml warm water
tin toms blended or pasatta
dried italian herbs oregano basiletc
cheese
toppings
with flour in a bowl make a hole in middle.
Add the yeast
Add the water(i usually add 150ml)can add more later
Mix with hands.
Knead on a floured surface.
Wipe clean bowl with oil place dough in,cover with clingfilm or towel.
Leave to rise for about 30 mins.
Best bit when doubled thump really hardr to knock air out and knead.
I usually divide into 2 pieces and roll out to about 15cm round.
Top and cook in a really hot oven for about 8mins.

I make 2 batches into 4 pizzas and roll out and wwe all decorate our own pizzas at the table.

I would go with chicken noodles as well.I put them in tall glasses for my girls and call them potnoodles makes me a super cool mum my recipe is.

cooked left chicken
frozen mixed vege
stock
cooked noodles
splash of soy sauce
teaspoon of cornflour in water.

Heat chicken and vege in enough stock to cover.
Add noodles.
When heated add cornflour to thicken.
Spash of soy sauce
Place in glasses.
