Fillet steak with mushroom and peppercorn sauce, sauteed potatoes and steamed asparagus. Children will be eating at a birthday party later this afternoon so will just have something on toast before bed.

Lizzylou, how do you do the squid? I can make calamari (the breaded variety) but when I have tried other dishes it always ends up tough as old boots. Would love some tips!

Lizzylou · 14/09/2008 12:48

COV, I am letting DH do it! He bought it, he can do it (though I will be clearing up afterwards).

Damn, though I could get some answers

Will report back (have a feeling it will be calamari though)
