Can I freeze a pizza once it's cooked?

Am thinking of making a homemade pizza for DS's - well the base is a packet mix from Sainsburys but I'll be mixing it with my own hands! Can I freeze extra portion once all the toppings etc are on it before or after I've cooked it?

Don't see why not, but i'd imagine it would be really dry when you take it out of the freezer, especially if you are inteding to re heat again.

Then again I could be wrong, hopefullly someone who has done this will be along soon

I think you'd be better to freeze it before cooking - otherwise it will get dry and overcooked when you reheat it. But no reason not to freeze it before it's cooked - that's how they make frozen pizza after all!

I'd freeze it before cooking. Or cook it all off and they can have pizza in their pack lunches tomoroow.

how many bases can you get out of one packet? If more than one I'll be popping in Sainsbury's to investigate at the weekend

You get two packs in a box - they really are rather good!

I buy the packet mix things in morissons, I'm sure they are about 70p(for 2 packets of mix)

I also freeze them before I cook them & they come out fine
