My friends little girl wants a birthday cake and buns at her party but is allergic to eggs, so has anyone any ideas at all?

You will make a 3 year old girl very happy!

xx

My dd is also allergic to eggs. I have tried baking with the egg replacer with no great success although we did have fun with some of those store bought packets of bun mix. They didn't taste great with the egg replacer but they were fun to make and looked cute when decorated. Check the list of ingredients though as some have egg in them. She has Chocolate Krispie cakes at parties. There are recipes on here if you search recipes under egg-free cakes.

Egg & Dairy Free Choc Brownies just put dairy milk in instead of soya milk if not a problem.

Carrot, Apple & Raisin Cake.

Chocolate Cake, Egg & Dairy Free.

My little dd is allergic to egg and dairy and I bake the above and I also do other cakes using the egg replacer. I know they dont taste the same, but remember, she doesn't know what cakes taste like with egg so she probably doesn't mind, as long as you dont go "euuuurrrgghh!" when you taste it

I make and sell this in the form of cupcakes. But my friend has made it as a birthday cake with great sucess. Really nice with zest of an orange in.

Read the comments too for tips on making it better. I use buttercream icing (1 part butter to 3 parts icing sugar with a dash of milk) to ice.

Keeps really well too.

Hi I know this is a bit late but - replace each egg with 25g silken tofu - then just follow the regular sponge recipe. It tastes great and no-oneeven notices the difference. I use it regularly keeping a pack of tofu in the cupboard for emergency cakes when there are no eggs!
