bath chaps are pig cheeks, not sure about others though.

Iklboo Thu 04-Sep-08 15:34:06

Is that the same as brawn? That's a pressed meat made from pigs' cheeks

wessexgirl Thu 04-Sep-08 15:35:22

Isn't a priddy oggy a Cornish pasty of some kind?

jesuswhatnext Thu 04-Sep-08 15:38:57

i think brawn is calf brains, pigs cheeks are exactly that (uggh)

Mercy Thu 04-Sep-08 15:45:13

Brawn is made from a pig's head.

I've never heard of the others. What are they?

zippitippitoes Thu 04-Sep-08 15:45:49

bathb chap used to have bread crumbs on and be er soft and melting

priddy oggy is a cornish thi ng or south west

drings were a brand of chilled frankfurters when i was little..i used to love them they werent soft tho

Iklboo Thu 04-Sep-08 15:46:57

Nope - round here brawn is definitely made from pigs' cheeks (looks like shredded meat pressed in jelly which is what I suppose it is)
