A slightly posher (but still quick) variation on a theme:

cook down some cherry tomatoes and garlic in lots of olive oil, a splash a white wine and bit of cream if you have some. Add prawns and basil at end and warm through.

Nigella Express one is fab!!

Also, fry off onions (and your peppers) with some dried chilli, add a glass of white wine and a tin of tomatoes. Let this cook down until it's really thick and sticky, stir through the prawns to warm and a couple of tablespoons of creme fraiche.

Sorry, cktoo! I didn't read your's properly, mine's the same but I forgot the basil!

papadelle with garlic, olives, sun dried toms and prawns is lovely

notnowbernard Wed 03-Sep-08 22:06:29

Well, that was bloody lovely

Onion, garlic, birdseye chilli, red pepper, cherry tomatoes and half a tin of toms, seasoning and a bit of cream

And prawns, of course!

Simple and delish with spaghetti

Dp loved it, it had a great kick to it

Thanks all for the inspiration smile
