They aint going to last the morning with the amount they eat(a few handfuls of cereal),one doesn't like milk, one does. They're even off toast .

Like them to have some fruit too,any ideas welcome, open to anything if it's vaguely healthy and they'll eat it(hollow laugh).

Mil fed them Golden Nuggets et al for a week (I did try and put my foot down but she's hard to argue with in her own house, managed to stop her sprinkling grated choc on top for which I deserve a medal).Breakfast has slid downhill since when we returned(wasn't that great before)to Weetabix and Shreddies.

Thanks

One everything unless it's served at breakfast not really a morning person.

The other is fussy but does love fruit and well crap really.

My twins often have lunch type things like a ham or egg sandwich or dd yesterday had cheese cubes, cherry tomatoes and ryvitas with butter. Pasta salad has been known (left over from day before).Ds1 had marmite on toast, dried apricots and a squeezy yoghurt thing.
Mine often walk to school with the last bit of breakfast in hand or have an apple in the car.

porridge - my two love it. with sugar. with maple syrup. with jam. with golden syrup. (not all at once I hasten to add). also agree with the cooked suggestions - it really doesn;t take any time to stick some bacon under the grill. and you could try frozen berries (still frozen, not defrosted)thrown into the liquidiser with yoghurt and honey. call it home made ice cream

Dd has crumpets with butter and marmite. Every blardy morning without fail. Won't eat anything else before school. And then I have to cajole for every mouthful.

At the weekend she will eat anything- beans, bacon, eggs, cheese on toast, cereal, as we have breakfast much later.
She just can't eat as soon as she gets up.

what about some homemade flapjacks and a glass of milk? You could add dried fruit and nuts to the flapjacks. I make these all the time - very easy and great for handing to the kids as we dash out the door if we get up late. Healthy brekkie on the run!!

We do

Pancakes with a variety of fillings
Omelettes
Egg on toast
Bacon sandwiches
Porridge
Sausages and mushrooms
Yoghurt and honey with fruit

No cereal because they won't eat it, no toast (ditto). It's actually no trouble once you get into the groove. Or so I believe anyway because DH does it.

Thinking back to when mine were small fussy eaters.....

Porridge with syrup (2 mins in microwave)
Scrambled egg (also 2 mins in microwave)
Crumpets
Muffins (the bread type)

I recall pop tarts being whined for due to friends having them. You'd have to be desperate though, wouldn't you?

Pancake fillings -

Apple - precooked
Apple and blackberry
Honey (runny hunny)
Cheese
tuna and spinach
ham and cheese

etc

They like the pancakes quite thin and crispy
