Hi, I've been asked to run a after school cookery club for 1 hour every week in my local comp.I need some inspiration and some good recipes Thanks in anticipation
Bolognese sauce.Cauliflower cheese.A basic curry.Sponge cake.Lemon meringue pie.Apple tart.
I think you've got a great opportunity to teach the kids about cooking and enjoying healthy food - I would find recipes that had lots of fresh veggies, fish, fruit etc...likestir fryany kind of veggie soup (no cream)pasta/rice dishes using wholewheat pasta/riceetcteach them the basic dishes, like bolognese, chilli, chicken stew, fish pie...I would scour books like the dinner lady's one, you know, ones aimed for mums to cook healthy food for their kidsgood luck!
