A steak always goes down well IMO

A starter of Prawn cocktail. Steak, chips, peas and mushrooms and for desert profiterols (sp?) Classic but I think most men like that kind of food.

I would love asparagus but he hates it, he calls it girl food as he is a child. Steak, definately, but do i really have to do chips? Need a good starter now, no eafood, fish, only likes tuna. Sexy desert. He is bringing the champagne.

suzywong Sat 19-Feb-05 15:10:13

he's got a point FF, asparagus does make your pee smell worse

what about thai fish cakes for starters, made with tuna, I just happen to have a rather good recipe

fairyfly Sat 19-Feb-05 15:11:00

He tells me mushrooms are like spunk, i have not dug any further with the reason he knows this

Steak, but what do you do and what do you serve with?

fairyfly Sat 19-Feb-05 15:13:46

suzywong Sat 19-Feb-05 15:14:14

ribs are a good sexy meal - lots of finger licking etc... and then chocolate fondue with strawberries for after.... don't want too many carbs as they will make you slump too early!!

Cava is a great light drink to serve with it

fairyfly Sat 19-Feb-05 15:22:10

Wow i have a fodue and never used it, that is the one, thankyou so much, keep them coming

I know sobernow, i think ill just not wash till then and provide the aroma myslef

suzywong Sat 19-Feb-05 15:23:22

ph yes ribs are a great idea, get the ready marinaded from tesco

fairyfly Sat 19-Feb-05 15:26:23

so ribs for a starter, or thai fish cakes?

or ribs for main and what with, i am simple, need all of this spelling out for me

MancMum Sat 19-Feb-05 15:26:25

if you like the idea of fondue, go for nigella one -- I have mentioned it before but it is divine -- melt a toblerone and add a small carton cream and lump of butter -- spear strawberries and marshmallows onto sticks, dip in and enjoy... you can add amoretto if you like it..

suzywong Sat 19-Feb-05 15:27:27

ribs for main, corn cobs and potato wedges and a salad and fish cakes for starters
