Impressive but surprisingly easy dishes to make
Hubby requested i put some ginger in a stir fry so bought some nobbly looking ginger and now I am wondering what to do with it? Do I grate it? Do I peel it? Help!!!
Peel it with small sharp knife, an inch or so will do for a stirfry, then finely chop or grate it and add it at same stage as garlic, chilli etc ie it needs a bit of frying but don't burn it. Yummy!
I'm a lazy mare.....I don't bother peeling it, I cut a slice just to get into the root, grate as much as I need, then freeze what's left. Then next time grate from the frozen root.
