A simple bechamel is all i know really

alternatively i can do cold prawns in a seafood sauce, but would have to make that from scratch....isn't it mayo with ketchup and...something?

Thanks

Mary Rose is Mayo, Ketchup, Worcester Sauce and Tabasco but it would be a bit sickly as a whole mean with pasta I think.

Can't you use Holondaise sauce for that? Either make it yourself or get a sachet a la Schwartz???

Oooohhhh add some small cherry tomatoes for a minute or so to Lapins sauce and it is scrummy - they do this in a pub near us.

This kind of thing - although this is at the fancy end & probably don't need all those ingredients!

i make pasta and prawn with tomato sauce, mayo and a little viniger to thin it out, if your pasta is still warm, then it warms the sauce up and is yummy..i also make it inot more af a salad with chopped cheerry toms, cucuumber, spring onions, red peppers etc..nice with garlic bread/crusty baguette...in fact...think ill buy some prawn in for lunch..yum!

When I make prawns with pasta, I usually just use creme fraiche for the 'sauce'.

What I usually do is fry up an onion, garlic and red pepper. Add a bit of white wine (any excuse to open a bottle) and let it reduce a bit. Then add the creme fraiche. It's a thin sauce, but quick and tasty.
